Giveaway: Rumparooz Wet Bag
We now have 200 fans on our blog!!! As promised, we are giving away one of the new Kanga Care wet bags or pail liners. First…a brief review.I started using one of the new Kanga Care Wet Bags a couple of weeks ago – as soon as I was able to purchase one! My other wet bag was big and bulky, and not functioning well for us in the new house. It ended up hanging in the bath tub most of the time to keep it out of the way. Yuck! I was excited to try to the Kanga Care wet bag because of it’s unique, but small design. I also thought it would dry faster without the fabric outer shell.
So what is the verdict? I LOVE this wet bag! The “barrell” or “half crescent” shape makes it easier to hang, but also to fill up with soiled diapers. I was lazy and rarely zipped my other wet bag, so I am having a little bit of trouble remembering to unzip

the bag before I spray the diaper. On occasion, my other wet bag would leak. I never had a puddle of water on the floor, but sometimes I would brush against it with my leg, and it was wet. Gross! The Kanga Care wet bag, thus far, has not been damp on the outside of the PUL. And I rarely wring out the diaper after I spray it, so I know there is some water inside the bag!
This wet bag is compact and small and would be easy to take on-the-go or on a trip, although I don’t know if you need room for 15 soiled diapers just to go to Wal-Mart!
I have not tried the pail liner, but I look forward to adding it to my stash once the next baby arrives. We will need room for twice as many diapers!

Black Friday Extravaganza
I’ve had a hard time deciding what to do for our Black Friday sale this year. There is a host of new products on the market and lots of things that I want to feature! So…after much deliberation, I have decided to throw an extravaganza with many prizes, freebies, and sales.
Here is the list so far:

Sorry I’ve been absent…
I’m been a little remiss in my blogging here. We had family in town to celebrate my daughter’s first birthday! She wore her Gumball Rumparooz to the party (Ben’s favorite diaper), and it is now affectionately called “The Party Diaper!”
There are a few changes to note at Doable Diapers…
1. FuzziBunz should be restocked completely (with the exception of Dreamsicle) next week. I am looking forward to putting inventory woes behind me. This is definitely our most popular diaper!
2. Rumparooz now comes with the choice of either microfiber insert or hemp insert. You can upgrade to the hemp insert for just $2.00. This is a really great choice for several reasons. First, it is a natural fiber for those of you who have this preference. Second, it is a very “thirsty” insert for those of you with heavy wetters. Third, it is very trim and makes a fabulous overnight insert. We are in the process of switching to Rumparooz Hemp for our exclusive nighttime diaper.
3. There are a bunch of new products arriving soon and being released soon.
We are looking forward to the arrival of Rockin’ Green Funk Rock – a super ammonia buster. I can’t wait to put this product to work!
The FuzziBunz hemp diapers, and hemp inserts should be arriving in a couple of weeks.
Rumparooz is putting the final touches on their wet bags and pail liners. These products are made from the same fabulous waterproof TPU that you find in the Rumaprooz diapers, and they are available in every color and print!

Happy First Birthday to my Elaine!
It was past midnight before I got to hold my baby for the first time!
Three days later we came home together:
On November 5, 2009 I added the title mommy to my name. It has been an amazing and wonderful journey. From her first bath, to eating carrots, to learning how to hold her head up and sit alone. Then she got some teeth and learned how to crawl. Now she is a walking, jabbering, bundle of energy. There were sleepless teething nights, but there were also giggles and the pleasure of her smile. I just think she is so cute!

Everyone seems to notice her eyes first. I never get tired of hearing them comment, “Look at those eyes!” because I get to reply, “They are like her daddy’s eyes.” She has an adventuresome spirit like Ben, too. I think she will be petite like her Grandma Hamilton, but she definitely has Grandpa Godby’s strong lungs & voice! Every day I get to stay home and take care of Elaine. We have so much fun together! I cannot believe she is a year old – has it really been that long since she came home with us? I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her little life, and how God will use her in His plan!
